Hello all, i am Hariesh Manaadiar, the author of this blog..
I have been working in the shipping industry for the past 23 years.. During these years i have been involved in clearing & forwarding, vessel operations, stowage planning, equipment control, sales and marketing and management..
I have worked in various capacities in India, Dubai and currently working in South Africa..
Why am i doing this..??
I wanted to share my experience and knowledge about shipping and freight with others, specially new entrants to this industry and noticing that there were no blogs/websites that provided both basic and advanced information relating to the processes of shipping and freight, i decided to start this blog in October 2008..
I also share news and views relating to Shipping, Freight and Maritime, shared from various premier shipping, freight and maritime websites, blogs, government bodies and the media via my Shipping News & Views blog..
